1. Install the HeyLight module

Please follow the steps below to add HeyLight as payment method to your Prestashop online store:

1. Navigate to “Module Manager “in the “Modules” section​
2. Click “Upload a module” ​
3. Upload the HeyLight module in zip format that you received from us in the onboarding email​
4. Scroll down and the installed module will appear in the list. Click “Configure”​

Configure and Set Up HeyLight

After the module installation, proceed with the configuration:

• Enter your API key to start testing or activate live mode.
• Enable the promotional message.
• Configure the amounts and number of installments to offer to customers.

Sandbox or Production/Live Secret Key

In the "Activation Keys" section, enter the sandbox/production keys for HeyLight BNPL and/or HeyLight Financing:

• Test Mode (sandbox): Check "Test Mode" and enter the HeyLight Sandbox API Key to test the integration before going live. Refer to the Testing page for test instructions.
• Live Mode: Enter the Production API Keys available in the merchant portal (under Account Settings), then uncheck "Test Mode" and save the changes.

How to Configure the HeyLight Module

Promotional Message

Enable the promotional message by selecting "Show promotional message on the product page" and "Show promotional message on the cart/checkout."

General Settings

Select Product

Choose the product to offer to customers (HeyLight BNPL or HeyLight Financing). Remember that only one payment method can be activated. If you offer both BNPL and Financing, you need to install both the "HeyLight" and the "HeyLight +" plugin.

Select Number of Installments and Table Code

Set the installments available to customers. You can select up to six installments to display in the promotional message and at checkout. If using HeyLight Financing, enter the table code provided via email.

HeyLight BNPL 0% - HeyLight Financing

Configure the amounts to be financed:

• HeyLight BNPL 0%:
  • Minimum amount: CHF 1
  • Maximum amount: CHF 5000 depending on your commercial agreements.
  • Minimum instalment amount: CHF 1
• HeyLight Financing:
  • Minimum amount: CHF 1
  • Maximum amount: CHF 5000 depending on your commercial agreements
  • Minimum instalment amount: CHF 1

Category Options

Manage your e-commerce categories:

• Exclude specific categories from the HeyLight payment method.
• Select a specific number of installments for a category.
• Enable some categories for HeyLight BNPL 0% and others for HeyLight Financing.
